Can girls wear heavy or light makeup?
Assalamualaikum,
I am a Muslim girl. I have started wearing hijab for the last 7 or 8 months. A really like to wear makeup. But many people said it should not be worn outside house. I can comply with that. But the problem is if I go to a wedding or any grand ceremony All the girls wear makeup and I do not wear it like them but at least a light makeup to look presentable. Even my own mother tell me to wear it; also my aunts. They say I am at a marriageable age (25) and I should do it lightly. In our society it is really hard to comply with all this rules. What should I do? If I wear it will I be cursed? I am really scared. Plez reply with reference and accurate source !
