    Leak sometimes
I have a shower that leaks only when it has been used multiple days in a row. If I run the water for an hour it will not leak onto the room below. However if a couple people take a shower one day, with no leaks, then the next day it leaks with the first shower.
Is it an obstuction in the pipes. A shower pan problem. Any ideas.
    Thank you soooo much.

    Hi Marie

What material is the shower pan made from?

What material is on the shower walls (tile, fiberglass)?

How many handles does your shower valve have (one, two, or three handles)?

Do you have an access panel on the backside of the shower valve?

    Answer my questions...

If the ceiling below has insulation in it, it could hold water for a time before leaking.

You will have to remove ceiling and watch as shower is run. It may be wet or stained from previous use.

We have removed the ceiling and look for the leak and can not find it. No insulation to hold the water, but a good thought.

I asked very specific questions? If you had answered my questions and taken a few minutes to work through things with me you may never have had to open the ceiling...

    *shrugs*

You can keep cutting holes if you want. Good luck!
