    Outside faucet dripping
When removing the outside hose from the spicket, the hose came off fine but now water still trickles out. I tried turning it off and on again, but still does not shut off all the way...

It has been pretty cold, but... Looking for suggestions

    Hi Shellbell

There should be a shutoff valve inside the basement (or crawlspace)... try to find that and shut it off.

    Back to you...

If there is no shutoff inside the house for that faucet, turn off the house water. My bet is a bad washer on the faucet stem. As they age, they get hard and cold temps make them harder. With the water off, unscrew the large bonnet nut and then unscrew the stem. I just did one for a customer and the washer felt like it was plastic. New washer, no leaks.
