    Sewing machine plug rewire
    Hi to all,
    I'm trying to wire a sewing machine foot pedal plug to a small dc motor,but not sure how to do it. So if anyone can help please do so.also I'd like to have a on and off switch and able to be plug into a socket. THANKS

    Can't do that, the receptacle is AC. What makes you thing th motor is DC . Unless the sewing machine is a battery powered machine it will also be AC.

    I'm making a potter's wheel with a 24VDC motor and wanted to use the foot pedal to control the speed
