I am going through issues with my girlfriend of three years. She used to call me everyday when she was in her car after work. For the past week she hasn't initiated a phone call or text. I have to be the one to pick up the phone, or we don't talk. When I ask her she says she is fine, just tired. This could be the case because she works full time and goes to school after. I think something else may be bothering her. Any advice?

Take her at her word. I worked full time and went to grad school and was TIRED! -- so tired I taught my kids to do laundry, wash dishes, and cook simple stuff (and use the microwave) so I could SLEEP when I finally got home.

Do you really think she has the time and energy to connect with another guy? Or that's she's ignoring you in an effort to forget (and dump) you?

Take her at her word or ask her if there is something you can do to help. In other words start a dialogue. Talk to her. Don't badger, talk.

What else could be bothering her?
