My brother was arrested for shoplifting for around $250 in Sears Calgary. Is the first time that he did it. He never had any problems before, he has a university degree and is currently working. I don't know why he did it, but he is married with one child and Two babies coming for the next May. I don't know what can he do in the court. Can he apply for the Adult alternative measure program and how it works? He have to pay any fine? He doesn't have money now to pay for a lawyer for that reason I'm asking.
