My dog has been vomiting and shaking and acting out of character for 3 days. I get her to eat a little at a time and then about 5 hours later she throws up the last thing she ate. It isn't even dugested. It looks exactly the way it went in. I'm able to get her to drink a little as well. She is also shivering as if she's cold. I have gotten her to stop if I lay her down,cover her up and make her surrounding calm and quiet. As soon as we start to stir and the other dogs get active she starts the shivering again. She is a high strung dog normally(she was rescued from abuse) but she is normally very active and happy unless someone yells then she gets nervous. But this is a new behavior I haven't seen.
