We have a Intertherm gas furnace. When we light the pilot, and then we turn the furnace on the pilot would go off.We've replaced the thermocouple, what else could be the problem?

Will the pilot stay lit when the gas valve is just on "Pilot"?
Does the pilot flame completely envelope at least the top 1/3 of the thermocouple?
