MUSIC VIDEO-MID 80's-I'm in the usa and I'm desperately looking for a music video in which a girl with pigtails,liken to pippi longstocking is walking down a country road,much of the video is animate including the road itself as I remmber.. she's singing something like(the hook of the song in fact is ) 'the colors in the rainbow " or "just like the colors in the rainbow" ..at one point in the video,she's walking past a house on the right side of the road and it's also animated and there's animated people inside the house and the impication was they were sleeping on the floor,they stood up as i remember and gathered at the window and i think maybe laid back down moments later.. an alternative kind of new wave video..the song wasn't a real up tempo..probably aboutor generally the same speed as midnight at the oasis by maria muldaur..the girl in the video had orange or red hair as i remember and reminded me of pippi longstocking..i believe the video was a european music video and i only saw it twice on MTV back in 1985 i think it was..maybe 86..the only part of the song i can remember is something like, "just like the colors in the rainbow".. or something similar.. it wasn't cyndi lauper 'nor was it dio's rainbow in the dark.. I've been looking for this video for years and I think I remember the band having a name that wasn't english but I don't recall clearly.. I remember I thinking at he time that the name wasn't typically an english sounding name.. I remember I tried to copy the name of the band and video down but wasn't able to get to a pen and paper in time to do so. This has been bugging the hell out of me for years.. I love this video.. whatever it is..
