I have these bumps on my vagina and they hurt when they fill up with pus. I asked a doctor and he said they were from shaving but some of them turn into abscesses. How can I get rid of them completely? And what are some tips you have so I can prevent them from coming back?

I get those also! Get a really good razor the $10 kind and good shaving cream then shave I sometimes even put baby oil on it because my skin on my vagina is so dry. My bumbs come from in grown hairs and it being dry!

When you shave you're more prone to ingrown hairs, which it sounds like you have. Not shaving is the best way to avoid this. Even with a really good razor ingrown hairs can still happen.

You are not actually shaving the vagina girls (exluding Alty). You are shaving your PUBES, or pubic area.
