Did I really receive a tooth lengthening?
I recently had a crown placement. As part of the preparation I was told I needed a tooth lengthening and was billed for one. The procedure was performed during the less than 30 minute crown preparation. There was no pain or swelling of the gums and the crown was cemented 12 days later. I have a discounted dental plan and feel that I may have been charged for a procedure not performed to counteract the discounted price. I need more work done, but I am skeptical of this dentist. The lengthening cost more than the crown, core build up and pins combined. Any advice?
