What is the difference between cream and lotion moisturiser:confused:
This is from Dr. Christine Horner's website:
The only difference in the cream and lotion is that the lotion is a bit thinner than the cream. It's just like any other product that has both a cream and lotion version. The cream will be thicker in density than the lotion will. To make up for the slight dilution the lotion measures 1.8 oz (50 g), almost twice the size of the cream, which is 1.1 oz (30 g).
Creams have a thicker consistency and it's a mixture oil and water. The thicker the consistency, the higher the oil content. Lotions are thinner and contain less oil and more water.
