It's a shower only no tub.
Remove shower head, clean filter inside the shower head threads ( or toss is completely ) and reinstall. See if that helps. Back to you. Milo
Already tried that.. the hot water is turned off under the sink would it affect shower?
Tried that, didn't work. The hot water valve under the sink is turned off because it leaks would that affect pressure to shower?
Hi Sassie
No, the shut off valve under the sink should not affect the volume/pressure of water available to the shower valve(s) in any way.
So, let's be clear here:
You said, "Low hot water pressure in shower". Is that shower ONLY (i.e., no other fixtures/faucets affected)...correct?
You said, "2 faucets hot & cold". Does that mean that you have a hot handle and a cold handle only, or is there also a third handle to control shower head volume?
Old house, huh? That suggests galvanized pipes. Are there galvanized (silver color) water pipes in the home or are you pretty much all copper tubing?
A manufacturer name (delta, kohler, grohe, symmons, etc.) would also be helpful (a picture would be even better).
Once we know this information we can probably help you solve the issue.
Please answer my questions.
