Can a felond on federal suervised release marry naother felong on parole?
I'm on federal supervision and my boyfriend is on felony parole. We are engaged and his po is fine with us being together married or not however mine does not know. We would like to wait to get married however are going to go get a marriage license on Monday. My question is will I be violated if they find out about us AFTER we are married? My lawyer says she thinks we will be fine but she is not a federal lawyer any help would be appreciated thank you!

    Hello j:

You are not allowed to associate with felons. If you ASK, you're admitting that you did, and I wouldn't DO that. I'd WAIT.

That makes not one bit of sense. Go ahead, 'wait' until she finds out... which could be one day or one month or who knows. What's your hurry anyway?

Nahhh. You don't wanna go back to jail..

First off, married is a LEGAL designation that I suggest CAN be delayed. Secondarily, we don't ordinarily tell our clients HOW to break the law, but I think young love is worth it this time.

The things is, my solution would be VERY expensive, because you'd need to keep the LEGAL residence you have, and your "husband" needs to keep his, and you'll need a THIRD place which is your lovenest.

    Or you can wait.
