So last night I went out late to go run some errands and I messed up with the bus schedule and had to walk. About half way back to campus some guys offered to ride me back and since we were in a populated area I thought it fine and got in. Instead of driving me back to campus the normal route, they said they knew a shortcut and 20 minutes later we ended up at this abandoned looking house. Two of the guys pulled out knives and told me to get out and brought me into the house. There were people inside doing drugs and stuff. They took me upstairs to a room and beat me before raping me. They beat me up so badly that I was fading in and out of consciousness and my next fully clear memory was waking up in some other guy's house. He put out a sandwich and OJ for me and told me he found me passed out next to a tree near the house where I was raped. I told him I didn't want to call the police yet. He drove me back to campus. I've told no one about this and I want to see if there is a way I can handle this without my dad or uncle finding out. Please I'm so scared and confused and just don't know what to do! Help!

Go to the Police... not the campus police... go to the state police... file charges... and you need a complete medical exam... and tests.

Some things should not be kept a secret... this is one of them. Nothing is more important than putting people that do things like this in jail. they might have done this before...and they might do it again to someone else if you do nothing.

The account of this incident is not ringing true for me. I could swear I read this account before here on askme.
You got in a car with several male strangers. And you figured being in a vehicle with several strangers would be ok because it was a populated area?
Two of the guys pulled knives out near an apparently abandoned house, even though you were outnumbered 2,3 or 4 to 1.
You lost track of events for hours and woke up in another guy's house who had found you beaten badly and he took you to his house instead of calling police, putting himself in a position of being the prime suspect for your injuries. Are you even sure that he wasn't one of the ones from the night before since there were many people there and you were (sounds like) practically unconscious.
If this story is nonetheless true, go to the police as smoothy advised before the evidence is gone or too old to accurately test. These guys may well return if they know you aren't going to report them.

This doesn't ring true for me either -- I've read this somewhere before. This event all happened last night, you were raped and beaten so badly you became unconscious, didn't end up in a hospital, you're still scared out of your mind, and are posting on this site a very coherent rehash of events (including recollection of a sandwich and OJ)?

If all this is true, like the others said, go to the county police and give them all the information you have so these guys can be caught and not do this again.

There is no reason to hide such a thing but there is no way to handle this where your closest relatives will not find out. Call the police, or be silent and let these thugs go and do it again. Their next victim may not be as lucky.
