Exhaust gets red hot

Red hot can be an expression or it can be an actual event. Is the exhaust pipe turning orange in color? Hw far up the pipe is the color? What color smoke is coming from the pipe?

What type of unit is this?

Giant quiet 6000watt it has 1 hour so its new, red orange and stay red all the way to the muffler I'd say about a foot away. It got hot enough to almost light the hear foil on the exhaust box on fire

It was barely visible white smoke but really faint

You might want to call the manufacturer but from what Im reading this may be a normal condition. Exhaust systems tend to get hot and its not unusual if the metal is thing for it to glow. I would double check with them and see. I found a possible manual for it and that is what Im going by.
