Adding light kit to hunter fan. Wires say to light kit are one white and one black with white line. Only one black and white on light kit. No lights. There is 2 red wires with a wire nut around them. Any suggestions.

Once you remove the capor cup under the fan you expose the connection point for the light kit. You should have a white and a blue wire or in your case a black with a stripe. This is coming out of the fan, what wires do you have coming out of the light kit?
