    My dog is almost two years how can I house brake her.
    I was given a pomeranian a few months age. The person who gave her to me was given her and he had kids and two big dogs. Well she was abused and it's so hard to train her. Her isn't house briked but she dose go no paper for the most part but she tends to go on my bed often. The other day she went to the bathroom outside but then later on she went on the bed. She is a good loving dog I can see that she is smart but I don't understand why she dose that. Any way that I might be able to teach her.

    Read through it, and post back with any questions. Relieving herself on the bed could be a leadership issue too. Dogs see all the people and dogs in the household as a pack with each having their own rank in the pack and a top dog. Life is much easier if the 2 legged pack members outrank the 4 legged ones. You can learn to play the role of top dog by reading some books or going to a good obedience class. A good obedience class or book is about you being top dog, not about rewarding standard commands with a treat.     The absolute best way to train is by using a crate. Re-training or older dog training is the most difficult but just hang in there! The crate should be only big enough for the dog to lay down in and the dog CANNOT come out until you open it, pick the dog up, take to specific potty area and say "go potty" over and over. Reward with food treat and praise if they eliminate. If they don't, its back in the crate for another 10 minutes or so. The dog can only be out of the crate if proper elimination was performed. Repeat taking to elimination spot every 30 minutes. You have to be consistent and use praise. Don't address the accidents! If an accident occurs while your not looking, just clean it up

    Might I point out all of the points in the above post and more are covered in the sticky.

    One thing I might add is that careful reading of the puppy and making it move around while outside are likely to give success on the first try.

    How it goes with an older dog largely depends on the condition it was living under before. If it wasn't forced to live in its own filth, it may go very well.
