Is there a standard for roughing in plumbing in the kitchen? Is it different from the bathroom?

I'm renovating my kitchen. I'm rewiring for multiple circuts. Moving the plumbing for a corner sink and adding a dishwasher, How easy is a dishwasher to install? Is there anything I should know before I get started?

Yes, kitchens rough in significantly different than bathrooms...

What state are you in (codes differ by state) and will there be a garbage disposal installed?

Since it is a remodel, you pretty much repeat what you see existing with the old pipes...;)

Wiring :all kitchen outlets must be GFCI, not just countertop.
2 separate 20 amp circuits. DW should be on separate circuit, cannot be on kitchen outlet circuit but can be combined with disposal or refrigerator .

DW install is pretty straight forward. Hot water supply, not through a saddle clamp, high loop or air gap drain into the disposal or sink tailpiece with DW connector. Make sure you maintain proper venting when relocating sink.

Have you the necessary skills and tools to do this remodel? If so let's start with a bathroom. Here is a typical bathroom drainage rough in. When you get that done we will do the kitchen. Dishwashers are easy installed times takes less than 45 minutes. Let us know how you progress. Good luck, Tom
