    If I get marry a resident and I try to do my papers can I still get deported?
    My girlfriend is a resident... she haven't get her permanent residence yet... she will get it at the end of the year... I want to know if I get marry her and I try to do my papers can I get them?even thou she is a resident and what it would happen if emigrations try to deport me ( for any reason) can they deport me even if I am with my papers in proses?

    Of course yes they can, I have seen cases where someone was married to a US citizen and was deported while trying to get their citizenship.

    You will have to apply and get the process started, what is your legal status now, if you don't have legal status you need to get some form of legal status to be here.
