    Ice maker problem
Recently, we had to replace the submersible pump in our well as we had little or no pressure. We have pressure back to the original level, but our ice machine is not producing ice. Any suggestions?

    Hi Youdawson1985

I take it that there is not a water dispenser on the door, correct? If there is a water dispenser and it works let me know, OK?

Otherwise, the first thing to check would be to see if you have water flowing from the water line that feeds the ice maker. Here, shut off the water supply to the ice maker and then unscrew the compression fitting on the back of the 'fridge... direct the tube into a large bucket and have someone turn the water supply back on for a second. If water flows strongly, check the valve the water line connects to for any blockage at the inlet to that valve... clean if needed and then reconnect the icemaker water line and see if that fixed the issue.

If that did not resolve the issue then you need to start looking for any filters that may be inline... can be outside (even in the basement near the water heater sometimes) or even inside the refrigerator... check for these and clean/replace if needed.

Try these things and let us know what you find.
