I have a pea size lump on the inside of my left labia. It is itchy, burns and painful. Hurts to wipe. Its been there for a long time and seems to getting worse. What could this be and could it be serious? I had cervical stage 3 displacia and endormetreous, I'm sure I spelt those wrong, at a very young age that resulted in a hysterectomy.

It could be harmless, such as a cyst around an ingrown hair, or it could be more serious - but given that it hurts (which is not an indicator of harmless vs serious), it makes no sense not to be seen by a doctor, preferably a dermatologist.
