My boyfriend violeted his probation. They searched the house he stays at (his moms house ) and found beer. He is not a drinker, and his mom said the stuff was hers. Which is true. A week and a half later they put him in jail for violating is probation. This is his first violation though. He only has 9 months of probation left. What could happen to him ?

Will they give him a lot of jail time? His PO is on his side after hearing his moms side of the story after he was put in jail.

He may get off but there must have been a PO clause that said he couldn't be around alcohol. You still didn't say what offense put him on parole.

The offence was exploitation of a minor.
