My friend asked her boss for a raise but he kept lyn saying he would but never did. He told her to put down overtime in the place of a raise. Her listening to her boss she thought it was OK. He signed off on all the paystubs. He got upset with her over something and tried to say she was stealing. The overtime he gave her was 6000 all together but it was separated during time. What's going to happen? He tryna make it look like she was stealing

If she didn't actually work that time... she actually was stealing it. With or without anyone else's approval.

What happens is up to her employer. She could be fired, she could be fired and made to pay it back...or she could be fired, reported to the police, charged, arrested AND be made to pay it back.

We can't know for sure what will happen.

They gave her 2 options. To quit or be fired. She just quit. They said being that she quit they won't press charges but they did any way. Her record is clear her first time being charged we have a lawyer and they turning her in the morning I'm just nervous of what's going to happen

Would have been good if they would have given her the option in writing before she had to make a choice, but that's water under the bridge.

Her lawyer would be a better judge of what might happen as they will know all the exact details of the case... what the exact charges are... what evidence they have... how the local courts tend to rule on this type of crime... and if there is a chance at a plea deal to significantly reduce what might happen by agreeing to some lesser agreement to avoid the cost and trouble of a trial.

The lawyer won't tell you (legally can't)......so you would have to get it from her. Assuming she isn't advised to remain silent about everything....being friends and coworkers could actually be called to testify against her.
