I'm Anil. I have pain in chest at right side. It feels like pain is in rib but pain is severe and it locks respiration as well for sometime. Pain is not regular but it comes twice or trice in a week. What should I do for the same and what are possible diseases that type of pains belongs?

I would go to the ER the next time you feel this pain. Best case it is just a pinched nerve, worst case it is organ troubles. Better to know for sure.

If you are asking because you are in a part of the world without easy access to health care, I would at least find a clinic or doctor group to be seen in the not too distant future.

Pain under the right ribs is often first looked at in terms of your gallbladder, and an ultrasound done. Some people go for years with gallbladder obstruction (gallstones) or other gall related conditions, others get serious quickly. Vomiting would be a sign to get to a hospital.
Surgery is a one day operation, no overnight. I had it, and had no pain afterwards.
