Trying to wire a ceiling fan. Coming out of the ceiling is Red, Black, Tan, and Ground wire. The ceiling fan has two green wires, two Blue wires, three white wires, red, and tow Black. I've never seen so many different colorerd wires before, it is remote control. Help

Are you planning to use the remote? The "tan " wire is probably a discolored white.

Google the instructions to accurately identify the wire colors before installation...
Then you won't have to guess...
