My PO says I'm not at the residence that I told her I was staying. I am at the residence and she never showed up. She sent me a letter that I must report within one business day upon receipt of the letter.

I didn't report to my PO on the date I was supposed too I got my dates mixed up I called her leaving a message and told her this. Today I got a letter saying that I'm not living where I told her I was living and failure to report I called when I got the letter like it said and told her I'm coming in tomorrow.

Can she violate me and lock me up? She never came to my house, and she didn't even let me know that she also said in the letter that she couldn't contact me which is a lie she has both of my numbers.

Yes, she can violate you. Show up and be on your best and most respectful behavior, and don't go on and on with excuses, and don't ask her why she didn't call you or go to your house. Everything now hinges on how you act.

It isn't her job to find you, or to listen to explanations for things like mixing up dates. It's your obligation to do exactly what the court ordered, and that means no mistakes. You don't have any other options but to act like this is the most important thing in the world. Probation and parole are no different from prison - you toe the line or else. Many POs can't wait to violate people.

First and I say this since it is common, are you really living at the address on the record. Many list a mom or aunt and have clothes there, but stay at a girlfriends.

Next check the address, corrrect street number, right street ? Correct apartment number.

But yes they can violate you

Do you get locked back up if your PO violates you? My PO is nasty and she's been itching to lock me back up. I missed an appointment and she says I'm not at the address I gave her I'm not trying to walk in the office so they can lock me in the booth and them come and lock me up.

Do violations mean they detain you when you report to your PO and lock you back up?

Please help I'm stressing when I go is that what's going to happen?

There obviously has been some errors or misunderstanding and you need to go clear it up. If not a warrant for your arrest will be issued and they will be looking to take you to jail. If indeed you do clear things up, you may well not get violated. But if you have been dishonest, sure you could end up in custody. They all threaten to violate you if you don't cooperate, or abide by their rules.

It's entirely your obligation to fulfill the conditions set forth by the court, and PO officers have to see you to tell if you are. Just showing up on time when you are supposed to is a plus, passing a drug test, or any other conditions, including correcting any mistakes works for you.

Their personalities don't count, yours does, so deal with it.

SO GO. Waiting around here for someone to assure you that she won't violate you is futile. She will or she won't. She can. If you handle it responsibly and with the right attitude, she won't.
