I started my period 4 days ago and I had it for 2 days and the 3rd day I stopped an then that night I started again and then I woke up this morning and I wasn't bleeding and through out the whole day I hae been bleeding off and on. What does that mean?

You are having a wonky period. Nothing really more then that can be said.
