    Google Chrome Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrr?
A few months back I had switched back to a Refurbished Dell PC rather than my Laptop which finally died.. The Dell PC came with the Google Chrome browser.. Up to that point I had been using & accustomed to the Firefox Browser.. Yesterday I had a Gremlin in the Computer as I was clicking on my Gmail Account a gazillion rows of 1/8" wide / 1" long colored lines like a rainbow effect came on the screen.. Having unplugged the power source and waiting a couple of hours seems to have cleared up things and sent the Gremlins seeking trouble elsewhere.. lol.. Honestly though I tend to believe Google is just too much, kind of like digging into your system if you will.. I'm considering going back to Firefox and possibly the Thunderbird Email.. Any thoughts on my Plan would be Appreciated, Thanks

That sounds more like a video card/driver issue that the application causing the problem. Chrome uses MUCH less resources than Firefox does, but many like Firefox for the look and feel and add-ons that they are used to.
A screenshot would have been good to see for troubleshooting purposes.

It helps to have at least 2 browsers installed for when the gremlins get active.
I've been using Chrome all the time in the last year, and I prefer gmail, both for the free phone calls and what I perceive to be more security from hijacking.
