My mother and I bought this house together,but it was only in her name. She passed away in 12/5/12 leaving the house to me in the will. I sent everything chase asked for and they said they get back in touch with me. Then I received an eviction notice in the mail saying it had been sold to chase which were the people who held the mortgage anyway. There are 7 of us in the house which contains myself which is disabled so is my spouse and there are an 8 month old snd a 3 yr old . What can we do?

Get an attorney. Did you continue to make payments on the mortgage after your mother died? If not, why not?

You should have been advised of the auction and foreclosure. If you received no notice of the foreclosure, you can go to court and have it vacated.

Did you file probate on mom's will?
