    Missing H1-B approval documents
A H1-B petition (I-129) was filed for me in April 2013 and was selected in the USCIS lottery. On Aug 30, the petition was approved and the documents were mailed as per USCIS case tracker status. I continue to hold a L1-B I-94 which is valid for couple of more years. The I-129 was filed requesting a change of status from L1-B to H1-B. This was approved as a consular process since I had traveled out of USA in May 2013. Now my lawyer says he never received the H1-B approval documents. He however sent me a scanned copy of a I-797B which is a Courtesy notice. My lawyer says that USCIS won't provide the tracking number for the mailed documents. I-824 has been filed and receipt number provided to me but I do not see my nae on receipt copy as beneficiary or an Alien # on it. Is something FISHY?
