A bachelor's degree is the minimum level of education required to become an adult GED teacher. Each state has its own requirements. Some also require a teaching certification. Some states also have specific certifications for adult GED teachers. It is important to understand your state's requirements. You may also need to have prior teaching experience, but this is left up to the hiring organization. It is advisable to have at least a bachelor's in education if you want to teach adult GED courses.
