I stopped taking my birth control pill in September. I completed the entire pack and decided no to continue because of side effects: bloating, water retention. My first period was 26 days from my LMP. My second period started on day 16 of my LMP. I have mild cramps and regular bleeding. Could you clarify as to why my period in my scondmonth off the BC seems so irregular?

Your body is adapting to no birth control pills. It needs to re-establish its own cycle and regulation of that cycle. It will be a little bit until things even out. Are you using another for of protection now that you're off birthcontrol pills?
