    Keratin Effects On Pregnancy
    Hi,
Last Sunday I found out I am pregnant.
According to my last period date I must be 9 weeks now !
I am planning to go to a consult this coming Saturday but there is something that really concerns me and I can't wait. On October 21st I got a keratin treatment on my hair and I leave it on for 4 days. Since that day I have been using a shampoo that contains keratin protection and I was wondering if it could harm the baby in any way since the first trimester is the most complicated one.
    Thanks.

From what I can tell the shampoo is fine, but the treatment might not be. The actual keratin is fine, the problem lies in the chemicals also in the treatment. Chances are that you're fine. I wouldn't worry too much about it. Continue to use the shampoo but maybe not th treatment.

    Congratulations on the coming baby!
