Had a faint positive pregnancy test 18 days after unprotected sex and then a negative blood test 27 days after unprotected sex, I've had no bleeding to symbolise a miscarriage. What could this be? Is it possibly a false positive? Or could I be about to miscarriage?

Have you had your period? The original test could have been a false positive. Maybe things weren't done right or you read it too late. Did you follow the instructions precisely? I mean they're simple, pee on stick, wait, read answer, celebrate/commiserate result. The problem is if you let them sit then the control will weep into the test area and you could get a faint positive result.
