Hi. I'm due July 29. Doc says I'm 22 weeks pregnant. What is the range of conception dates I could have gotten pregnant? I've used calculators online, but really would like a real person's advice.

The first day of your last period is day one of your cycle. An average woman ovulates around day 14 to 20th. That's based on a 28 day cycle. And within that period is when you should have conceived. Sperm can live inside you for about 5 days long. So I hope this helps you!

You can ask your doctor at your next visit. S/he has a "wheel" that they use to determine conception and due dates, they are much more reliable.

My OB actually got mine down to the EXACT day that I conceived. I knew when I was supposed to get my period, I knew when I had sex, but did not tell him. He guessed the day perfectly. Told me that I conceived on June 16 (this was 6 years ago), and hubby and I were on vacation that night.

Your doc is the place you need to go for the most accurate advice.
