I am replacing ignition points on a 241 kohler engine. Does this engine have a timing device also ? Thank you in advance. Don

HI don and welcome, the flywheel key is the timing device. Careful with the points adjustment. Good luck

You set the timing by moving the points in or out .
There is a sight window on the blower housing , look through the hole find the S on the flywheel mark with white chalk .
Set at idle using timing light .
