Hi, I'm 18 years old, and I think I may be pregnant. My boyfriend and I had sex on the last day of my period, October 11, and we used condoms with spermicide, and right after I took the plan B pill called My Way, because I am not on birth control. A few days later, October 16 and 17, I had some pretty heavy bleeding, which I attributed to the My Way pill. My period was supposed to come on November 5th, so it is 3 days late now. I took a pregnancy test the day after my missed period, and another the next morning, and both were negative, but my period still hasn't come. Could I be pregnant? Or am I just being paranoid? I was under a lot of stress during this cycle because it was in the middle of my sports season, and being in the top boat on my team (I'm a rower) caused me to have a lot of stress, and now that my period is late I'm under even more stress.

Could you be pregnant -Yes. However, the odds are quite low with condom, spermicide and Plan B. Since this potential appears to bother you, consider Birth Control pills or other solutions too.

On top of that the Plan B will much up your cycle something fierce. So it might not come until later this month.

OK, first, if you due date was 11/5, its too early to test. HPT accuracy is less than 50% the first week after a missed period. It approaches 95% towards the end of the second week.

Second, yes you could be pregnant. ANY time there is penile insertion there is the risk of pregnancy. But with the precautions you have taken its unlikely.

Third, the Plan B could be interfering with your period. But stress, especially with heavy physical training, could also have an impact.

Finally, if you are concerned about getting pregnant, then don't have intercourse. That's the only sure way to keep from getting pregnant.
