When I enter an email address in a cell, it becomes a mailto link.

How can I turn this off?

(I want to leave it on for entered url's though)

Put an apostrophe as the first character of the mailto text

Ex: 'mailto:[email protected]

Excel strips out the apostrophe and you end up with text only.
