I have a Casablanca fan and want to change the switch . I bought 2 from home depot and both don't work. Does the fan only work with Casablanca switchs?

Which switch?
Wall switch?
Pull chain?

My wall switch. I only have 3 wires coming out , hot, neutral and ground. So far bought 2 switches and both seem not to work with the fan.

If that's all you have that is a switch loop. The white is not a neutral, it is a hot feeding the switch.
What kind of Casablanca is it? Is the switch an Intlitouch switch? If so then that is the only switch you can use.
