Looking to upgrage a cabin in Wisconsin that is about 700 square feet from Fuses to a circuit breaker. Estimated age is 51-75 years old. Wondering what the cost of this would be?

Are you changing the service or are you keeping the existing service and just upgrading the box? Also is a permit required for what your doing in your area?

Depends on service line at house. What is amp rating of fuse box? 100 amp? Can you go higher? $200 for box and breakers plus labor. Maybe a DIY for that body. Contracted out $1-2 K.
