Thank you in advance for the work on this. I apologize for my lack of info. I am writing about a film I saw in college. Well, some of it. I was getting dressed for class and saw a scene where a lady wrote a note about a football game's referee. On the back of the card was a play that was delivered to the field to the same referee and he read the note and became upset. This was in the old leather helmet days. I didn't know the play was ever sent out to the field to the officials!

I would love to know what this movie was. I'm sure it was at a college stadium. It was so long ago! Any clue?
