I was on antibiotics, missed a pill and then was late taking my other pills, I then had unprotected sex a few days after missing the pill. A few days later I was concerned I could be pregnant so I went off the pill and got a brown mucusy discharge which was reasonably light- medium a few days after going off the pill. This discharge went on for a 2-3 days, on and off. I've heard brown discharge is old blood so could this be left over from my last period, bleeding from going off the pill, heavy implantation bleeding or my period? I have pregnancy symptoms and last took a pregnancy test 13 days after conception which was negative. Any ideas? Has something similar happened to anyone?

I was antibiotics from the 12/10/2013-14/10/2013 and missed a pill on the 14/10/2013 I then had unprotected sex on the 17/10/2013, in between missing a pill and having unprotected sex I was late and irregular taking my other pills. Concerned I could be pregnant I went off the pill on the 21/10/2013 in hopes I would get my period, on the 24/10/2013 I got a couple of drops of brown blood and then had a dark brown with a tinge of red clumpy mucus like discharge, this occurred on and off over 2 and a half days and was a very light - light medium flow, for the next 2 days after this discharge I had few drops of pinkish/light brown discharge, a very tiny amount. I thought this could be my period however my period is very different of 4 days of continuos red blood and couple of clumps. I'm curios if this discharge could be a artificial period from stopping the pill as well implantation bleeding? Or heavy implantation bleeding? I'm very hesitant this was my period. I've had many pregnancy symptoms, so I took a pregnancy test 7 days after unprotected sex (the day the discharge started) and also 13 days after unprotected sex both turned up negative. I feel strongly that I'm pregnant due to my nausea, bigger boobs, diarrhea, light headed I even have a strong taste in my mouth of blood or metal which I'm told is a pregnancy sign however the negative results is convincing me this discharge could have been an irregular period? What are my chances of pregnancy? I can't get a doctor appointment for a week and am very stressed over this issue

Any time there is penile insertion there is the possibility of pregnancy. No form of birth control is 100%. If you don't use your form of birth control properly it reduces the effectiveness.

Most HPTs are most accurate about 2 weeks after your period due date, so you have probably taken them too early.
