How can I tell if my hymen is broken or not? Someone fingered me and when he took his fingers out he had a little bit of blood. It never hurt the other times he did it before.

If you want to keep your hymen unbroken, you don't let anyone stick fingers inside you. And you don't always bleed when the hymen breaks which can happen while playing sports or cleaning house or just living life.

Do you live in a culture where a hymen is important, and a bride must bleed on her wedding night?

Sadly yes I live in a culture where the hymen is important. My mom wants to take me to see a doctor but I want to know if there is a way to check at home

Not really. You don't know what you will be looking for and it would be hard to see. A doctor is probably the only way to find out.
