    Can you pay the property taxes on property you do not own and after so many years paying claim the property as your own

    No. If you pay the property taxes on a property you are giving the owner a gift.

    You can save your pennies so that when the property is seized for taxes, you can hopefully win it at auction or sale. Such sales require cash only.
