The movie was set in a supposedly haunted house/mansion. In order for Teenagers in high school to become popular/accepted into the cool gang they have to stay the night. The cool kids have the house rigged but surprise surprise there is a killer on the loose. It was a late 80's may be early 90's. Several scenes are set in the garden maze and if I recall correctly the end scene has the last remaining character trying to scale the wrought iron gates that were chained by the other students. I know it's not much to go on, but I was young at the time and really can't remember much more.
