    Water Pressure reducer
Can a pressure reducer be installed on a vertical pipe or must it be installed on a horizontal run? Seem to recall reading something about this but cannot find info on it.

I've never installed one on a vertical pipe but since they aren't a gravity based valve I see no reason why that woun't work. Any other opinions? Tom

Thanks guys, seems logical to me. I thought I read somewhere that you could put it vertically but that it would wear out faster. I don't know why. Was a little while ago so my memory isn't clear on it.
