I'm in my mid twenties and have had a regular period for years. But a couple of days ago just 2-3 days before I was supposed to start my period I began to bleed like never before. It looked like a bad movie. Bright red and big clots with a large very scarey amount of blood. Took a couple hours to slow with cramping and lower back pain and soooo dehydrated. Could I have miscarried? I didn't take a hpt and I'm O-... Scared to call the doctor now that my cycle is over . Please help

Very possible just a heavy period. They do differ sometimes, of course misscarriae, or other meical problem is possible of course.
