I am 10 days late for my period. I have sore , heavy boobs. I have horrible mood swings, slight head aches , & slight dizziness. The weird thing is 3 days ago I broke out in horrible hives. Then my hubby started getting sick, throwing up & heartburn. Next thing we know he got the rash too. I took a home pregnancy test & it first said negative. I checked in 10 minutes & it had a faint pink line. Do you think I'm pregnant?

Test only as directed, I doubt it said, test after 10 minutes.
First it is too early to test, you need to wait at least 4 or 5 more days, Test should be first urine of the morning when you wake up.

What you describe does not sound like pregnancy at all, but some allegorical reaction or illness. Please see doctor

If you leave a test too long it will show positive. Which his why, when you read the instructions, it tells you how long it needs to sit before you can read it. It will be explained that if you let it sit, then it will give a false positive.

A lot of the pregnancy tests have two lines, crossed, parallel, or what not, One will always show. This is the 'control' it has the detector substance and a sample of a chemical that will activate the detector. This shows that the detector is working properly. It sounds like you've contracted an illness, you should talk to your doctor about this. The best sign of a new pregnancy is no period. Sore breasts, cranky, etc, are more signs of PMS or just the ebb and flow of your hormones. The other thing to consider is that a man can't contract pregnancy. Now my wife would argue because I displayed all the symptoms of pregnancy and she didn't really. My belly even grew, but it hasn't gone down yet. So if your husband is getting it then it is something different. As welll when your body is fighting off an infection, it can cause weird periods, especially if it is a bad.
