How do I write a thesis statement about Japanese Video Game Companies?
I'm doing a report for my English class about Japan. And I chose Video games as my topic. I am having trouble writing the thesis. The 3 companies I'm writing about are Sony Sega and Nintendo

Maybe you should try writing your thesis on how those companies lead the world in video game technlogy and are the most reliable.

I am not sure what the parameters or rules are for your report other than the fact that you have used the term thesis, which is an unproved statement put forward as a premise in an argument.

So, if it is a theses you are trying to conceive than how about considering some issues about how valuable or not valuable a use of time video games are, the negative or positive effects of video games on people or society concerning the violence and/or aggression one might encounter in a video game. It should not be too hard to include Sony Sega and Nintendo in the argument.

If you do a Google search for Japanese video game companies negative effects, there are at least several sites that address the effect of video games on people. Wikipedia seems to have some good information.

I have not given you your statement, but only some ideas. The conception of your statement is up to you.

    I hope that this helps!

What about talking about the affects these three companies have had on japanese culture. I have about 1 1/2 pages of info, sources cited, about each company I just don't know how to fit the thesis in as well as the conclusion.
